Paris Right Bank - Rue du Temple, Auberge de l'Aigle d'Or

In the 17th century, Nicolas Faure, knight, lord of Berlize, had a mansion and apartment building built on rue du Temple. In the 19th century, this hotel became a terminus for stagecoaches under the sign of "l'Auberge de l'aigle d'or, (Golden Eagle Inn)". After a period of dormancy, the Café de la gare, founded by Romain Bouteille, Coluche, Sotha, Patrick Dewaere, Miou-Miou and Henri Guybet, moved there.
