Paris Right Bank - Portal of the Hôtel de Clisson

In 1371, Olivier de Clisson, Constable of France, undertook the construction of a mansion on the land he had just acquired outside the ramparts of Philippe Auguste. Of this first hotel, only the fortified gate with its corbelled turrets, overlooking the rue des Archives, has been preserved today.
