Built in 1966, Notre-Dame-du-Chêne Church was inspired by the Sydney Opera House (Australia) and its famous shell shape. Outside, the roof takes the form of an inverted concrete shell while the spectacular nave, in the shape of a vault, is made up of 1,300 wooden cells.
